Candidates

The Chair is open to :

• ESSEC Grande Ecole students (ASC), from Msc1 upwards

• ESSEC Grande Ecole students (AST), from Msc1 upwards 

• ESSEC Global BBA 4th year students

• ESSEC Specialised Masters students 

Admission process :

• Transcripts

• Letters of motivation

• Write a short essay in English (2 pages max) on a topic that you think is important and pertinent for the future of media, entertainment, and/or digital business. The essay can be related to the industry as a whole, or a specific company, emphasizing how you expect things to evolve, using strong arguments to support your view, and the business implications of this evolution. Please include a title for your essay, as well as your full name.

Admissibility:

• For eligible students, the oral test will take place in person at the EEE, Campus de la Défense or remotely (for candidates abroad).

Each candidate will have 20 minutes for an exchange in the presence of a jury composed of the Chair holder, a manager from each partner company and a Chair alumnus.

         The interview will begin with a presentation in the following order :

•  Personal presentation: maximum 1 minute, possibly 1 slide

•  Presentation of a thought-provoking paper on a free topic within the scope of the Chair (distinct from the topic presented for the eligibility file): maximum 4 minutes, 2 slides compulsory

• The remainder of the interview will consist of a discussion with the members of the jury.

• Successful applicants will be notified by e-mail no later than Friday, October 11, 2024 (between 25 and 30 students are selected each year).

• Students return with course selections for Monday, October 14, 2024.
